I hope you had a good night as well.

Blue Panther – Thanks for your interest. I have learned a great deal … though there’s lots more to learn. I’ve shared some of my PSE ‘skills’ and projects on each of my blogs during the past 10 weeks and will continue to share in the future. If you’d like to see what I’ve already shared, click the “Photoshop Lessons’ link in my sidebar. It will take you to a ‘Directory’ with links to PSE posts on each of my blogs.

Mama Zen and Pam – I’m glad the ‘faces’ brought back fond memories.

Gautami Tripathy – Thanks so much ;--)

Mary, the teach – I thoroughly enjoyed teaching for all my 34 years in the classroom, and I always did my best. You’re quite welcome. It was my pleasure to share both.

Me Ann my Camera – Resources such as these did make teaching more relevant and meaningful for our students didn’t they?

Spacedlaw – It’s easy to be ‘content’ when one is ‘happily retired’ … no matter how busy I get, it’s never as busy as when I was working.

WillThink4Wine – Methinks all the best teachers are fascinated lifelong learners themselves.

Quiet Paths – I’m delighted that you found my post both fun and meaningful. Sharing my blessings seems the most natural thing in the world to do each week … and sometimes more often than that.

Whatever – I was fascinated by what Jill Bolte Taylor shared as well … how she remembered the experience so vividly and was able to speak of it with clarity and humor in such a relevant, life-affirming way … and, like you, find it astounding that she sees it all as a blessing to be shared with others. I suspect those 8 years of recovery were challenging, but she’s one amazing gift to the world today.

To all – I’m always delighted to find comments and appreciate your feedback greatly. I enjoy visiting your blogs as well. This ‘virtual’ world is a blessing, is it not? I hope you’ve had a lovely day. Thanks so much for dropping by Sacred Ruminations.
Hugs and blessings,storytellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14101550406171982090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5340188638004370422.post-58819574673406719802008-07-28T19:28:00.000-07:002008-07-28T19:28:00.000-07:00I heard the interview that Jill Bolte Taylor gave ...I heard the interview that Jill Bolte Taylor gave on NPR about her experience. The thing that struck me was how she described feeling happy or at peace and how she could revisit that feeling whenever she wanted to. The notion that she could find something so profoundly good out of such a potentially horrible experience is truly amazing.Whateverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06761685971297189784noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5340188638004370422.post-35841495951284391342008-07-28T12:23:00.000-07:002008-07-28T12:23:00.000-07:00Very fun and quite meaningful post. I marvel at how you manage to visit regularly and appreciate you kindness.

Lissa – Initially, contentment seemed challenging … but counting my blessings regularly helped me embrace all that comes my way with contentment … whether or not it’s what I want. I believe what I need comes to me … and it’s up to me to learn from it all.

Cybercelt – I'm glad you're enjoying good weather too. I see the fellow who does my hair every 6 weeks. He perms and cuts it one time, cuts it the next, then perms & cuts … and so forth. I’ve decided I’m worth this regular ‘luxury’ ... As for Photoshop, I’ve owned various versions for years, but this is the first time I’ve taken classes to learn how to put it to good use. I’m quite delighted with what I’ve learned thus far.

Karen – I’m happy you think these faces may be helpful to Nathan. I found such things helpful in the classroom, but the sets I had were not nearly so colorful and ‘with it’ … so when I came across these I knew I had to share. Yez … I love wash and wear hair! It makes life so much simpler in the mornings.

Paulie – Rereading the list now, I’m feeling blessed all over again ;--)

Thanks to each of you for spending a bit of your Sunday here at Sacred Ruminations.
