WW - One Single Impression #9 - Flowering

ALMOST
The prompt for Week 9 is Flowering

This apricot rose
flowering amazes me

every year in Spring

as do ancient bulbs ...
irises and daffodils
after 30 years

in the ground still bloom
as I now await return
of hydrangea

tiny buds begin ...
this 'Endless Summer' will soon
colorfully burst

forth in reddish pink
whitish purple lavender
clusters ... gorgeously ;--)

Enjoyed all the flowers, but the rose is a perfect one.

Gorgeous color on that rose! I have two big rose buds about to burst open...I can't wait! They are peach, but a pinker shade than yours.

I have a hydrangea but it has never bloomed. I still have hope :)

Your flowers are lovely. Thanks for sharing them with us!

Mike – I’m grateful ‘bulbs’ seem to thrive on neglect ;--)

SandyCarlson – Thanks for the feedback. I do enjoy the OSI weekly prompts and appreciate all you and AndrĂ©e are doing.

Neen – I’m happy you think so ;--)

Princess – You’re quite welcome … it’s my pleasure to share.

Zoya – I appreciate your enthusiasm ;--)

Joyce – I’m told it smells even better than it looks. Unfortunately my allergies won’t let ME put my nose close enough to smell.

Rose – My little digital Casio Exilim does take marvelous photos and I’m delighted to share.

Betty – Thanks. The amazing thing is that EVERY rose on that bush is ‘perfect’ and lasts a long time too!

Deb – There’s another photo of the entire apricot rose bush on my OSI Week 8 post at Small Reflections if you’d like to see it in all it’s glory. My pink bushes have been blooming for a while, but the RED rose has it’s 1st bud opening right now with 3 more coming. I hope your hydrangea does bloom. They’re wonderful blossoms. Mine already has some ‘color’ emerging … so I’ll try to share it again soon.

Thanks to all of you for visiting my OSI post today. My computer has ‘memory’ problems again and keeps ‘freezing up’ on me when I try to visit blogs, so I’ve been moving files from the ‘c’ drive to the external WD drive to free up memory so I’m hoping to be able to visit everyone either tomorrow or over the weekend. I hope you’re having a wonderful week.

Wouldn't it be nice if we all could bloom like these after 30 years of neglect! These are awesome!

Lovely pics--I especially love the apricot rose...I may have to pick up a bunch at Trader Joe's when I go shopping this morning.

Lori – Visiting your blog is always a pleasure. You offer such excellent, down-to-earth advice!

MyBellavia – Amen to that awesome thought! Maybe it’s actually possible?

Karen – Thanks and I’m happy to inspire you to bring flowers home. I sometimes wish my allergies would allow me to bring flowers inside, but I content myself with enjoying them outdoors.

I appreciate all three of you visiting and sharing your thoughts. Hope you have a fantastic Friday!

Visiting late this week. A lovely group of poems and photos. That rose is stunningly beautiful. I'll bet it smells good too.

Raven – Not to worry! I’ll be visiting even later than you … trying to catch up on the last TWO week’s of OSI posts this weekend. Life’s just gotten away from me recently and it’s hard to juggle everything, but I’m trying to stay relaxed and do just one thing at a time … trusting it will all work out somehow.

Thanks for your lovely feedback here … bringing my own attention back to this post. Yes, the roses smell as good as they look. Hope all is well with you and yours ;--)

Wow -- the thought of 30 year old bulbs is amazing!

MPJ – I know what you mean … and it’s amazing for me to realize I’ve lived here long enough to have PLANTED those 30 year old bulbs myself! LOL
