MondayMotivator#13 and two reminders

"Speak what you think to-day in words as hard as cannon-balls and to-tomorrow speak what to-morrow thinks in hard words again, though it contradict every thing you said to-day." Ralph Waldo Emerson

... have you?

Here in California we had 'early voting' from October 19th-28th ... so I went to the polls at the local City Hall Thursday afternoon to cast my ballot. It feels good to have done this early, and if you have that option where YOU live ... (and you've decided how to cast your votes on all the candidates & ballot measures) ... I encourage you to do so. I feel so relieved on a personal level.

Now my only remaining challenge is to remain calm in the face of all that is beyond my control. Currently my walking meditation is that people will vote with 'intention' rather than out of 'fear' ... with the kind of America they envision for the future in mind. I believe that together we CAN make a difference ;--)

If you haven't yet done so ...
be sure to get ready to Vote on Tuesday!

If you're still undecided on candidates or ballot measures & need additional information, here are some links to assist.

Once you've cast your ballot, go to Mommy Wizdom's and sign the Mr. Linky there to participate in the Election Night Blog Party 2008! Click for details.

Have you created YOUR Peace Globe yet?

As Mimi Lenox says ... "If words are powerful ... then this matters." Clicking on the logo above (or at the top of my sidebar) will take you to information about how to get YOUR Peace Globe to decorate & share between now and November 6th in the 5th Launch of Dona Nobis Pacem. We're counting down ...

I hope you've thought about making a Peace Globe and participating in
the upcoming 5th Blog Blast for Peace on November 6th. If you need some help adding text to the graphic, let me know and I'll be happy to help out. If you haven't heard about it or need details, click to read my post about it and/or find more details by clicking the logo at the top of my sidebar.

Sandee – This is the first time I’ve ever voted early, but I’m relieved to have it done because Tuesday promises to be a busy day for me with PSE6 class in the morning and several appointments in the afternoon. Thanks for the good wishes … hope you’re having a great day too!
Hugs and blessings,

Tammy – I’m a bit jealous about that. I’ve got my 3 Peace Globes ready to go (one for each blog) but I’m still working on the drafts of the posts themselves … hoping to finish them in the next day or two so I can visit everyone on the 6th. I’m so sorry about your car troubles and am praying that things will all work out somehow.
Hugs and blessings,

Well said. I waited to vote because I'm anxious to see the lines at the polls. I also go out shopping on Christmas Eve just for fun so I'm a little weird that way!

See you at the blog party tomorrow...
