Each time I leave such a post, I wonder if anyone out there cares … but tennis is on my mind and it’s hard to write about much of anything else right now. At least the Grand Slams only happen for two-week periods of time, four times a year, so I’ll be back to normal soon (for a while at least). As for our dreams … you’re so right. I keep reading inspirational things like this to keep ME moving toward my dreams. It’s fun to share and touch a nerve that resonates.

Sandy – I know what you mean because I fall asleep when I try to watch any other kind of sport … but somehow I live every point in tennis. The pace is quick and things can turn around fast. Often it’s just a point or two that separates winner and loser because of the way the game is scored in games and sets.

Lucy – I try to leave something in my tennis mania posts to capture the imagination of those who don’t follow the game. I love the “cross-talk” that happens in comments … it’s like introducing friends to one another and seeing relationships blossom.

Thanks to you all for bearing with me and sharing your thoughts. There are just two matches left in the Australian Open … one tonight and the other Sunday.
Hugs and blessings,storytellerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14101550406171982090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5340188638004370422.post-88527533424536437982008-01-25T09:09:00.000-08:002008-01-25T09:09:00.000-08:00karen--i love what you said, "There's nothing wron...karen--i love what you said, "There's nothing wrong with my dreams--I just need to gather the courage to live them." here's to courage for us all!!!Kayce aka lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01479940262271959482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5340188638004370422.post-43232898086693449472008-01-25T09:08:00.000-08:002008-01-25T09:08:00.000-08:00fabulous thought of the day!!!fabulous thought of the day!!!Kayce aka lucyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01479940262271959482noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5340188638004370422.post-48125140455795633292008-01-25T07:30:00.000-08:002008-01-25T07:30:00.000-08:00I have to admit, if I try and watch tennis I fall ...I have to admit, if I try and watch tennis I fall asleep instantly. I read your entries and feel joyful myself (not knowing a thing about tennis).

I really like the thought for the day, too--it's a concept I've been struggling with for a while, but slowly I'm starting to get it. I'm not here to be like my neighbor down the street--going that route would be a waste of this existence. There's nothing wrong with my dreams--I just need to gather the courage to live them.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09182248478422009913noreply@blogger.com
