The photo below isn't mine, but it seems PERFECT for today's theme so I'll share it anyway ... just because ;--)

Great entry for today's theme... Mine's up too hope you can drop by,,, Happy weekend!
Love the signs! Sort of points the directions we face in life....

Very well done. I love the one way photos as well.
Happy Hunting!
I know what you mean about the iris...they're blossoms just do NOT last long enough...but we do get the pleasure of their beauty any way.
Love your take this week.
Mine's shared, tho quite lame.
Nice post for the theme! :D
Now how confusing is that!?
Have a less confusing Saturday headed in the right direction :0)
PrettyLifeOnline – Thanks … and I will visit later, once tennis is over for the day.
Gypsy at Heart – I’m glad. I know we’re supposed to share photos we’ve taken ourselves, but this was a picture I used for a Heads or Tails post a while back at Small Reflections … and it came immediately to mind when I read the prompt this week.
CrazyWorkingMom – Thanks. I’m looking forward to visiting others later today.
Hootin’ Anni – Methinks you must have been reading mine while I was reading yourz … pretty funny. Of course I’m distracted this morning watching Venus and Serena in the Women’s Championship match. I didn’t find your Photo Hunt lame … it seemed quite ‘to the point’ in fact ;--)
Steven and Aisha – Thanks … now that I have my new laptop, I’m looking forward to getting my photos reorganized so I can find things more easily in the future.
EllenB – I’ve wondered (since finding this sign) if it’s a REAL one captured by someone or ‘created’ from the imagination to convey confusion … but regardless, I like it myself.
To all – I appreciate your visit and comments this morning, and look forward to seeing how everyone interprets the theme this week. Have a delightful day!
Hugs and blessings,
The arrows are very pointed.
Mine has no point.
I love street sign posts very pointed
Wonderful photos for today's theme! I love flowers. I did Photo Hunt today, too! Come see mine and put your link up. :)

Love the pointed arrows. Very creative idea for the theme. Great shots. Have a good weekend!
Alice Audrey – You’ve piqued my curiosity for sure, so I’ll check out your ‘pointless’ Photo Hunt post in a little while … once this highly competitive tennis match is over. Actually, it may be later rather than sooner given the way the Williams sisters are playing today.
Marcia – Me too! I loved this one when I happened upon it a while back.
Mrs. Mecomber – Thanks, and I’ll definitely be by later once I’ve finished watching the tennis match. It looks very much like it’s going to be Venus in just 2 sets even though Serena looked stronger at the beginning. Little sister just can’t capitalize on all the ‘break’ opportunities against big sis today it seems.
SandyM – I’m glad you (and others) enjoyed these signs as much as me.
To all – The Williams sister’s match is over … Venus won her 5th Wimbledon (even though it looked from the start that Serena had the advantage in the 1st set and has the ‘winning record’ against her sister). Looks like no one is going to broadcast the Women’s Doubles Championship Match later on … and that’s a shame because I’d like to view it. I hope you’re all having a wonderful weekend. I appreciate your visit today, and I’ll be visiting as soon as I fix myself a snack.
Hugs and blessings,
Sorry the irises left so soon - I'd be sad, too! Funny signs!
Good photos for pointed. I also like the donkey story below, very cute. I have a friend who loves giraffes also and she went to Africa a couple months ago to adopt a couple of kids and got to pet a giraffe and have it lick her. She didn't like that much.
right to the point, that is my way
Your explanation is great!
Of course! Great choices for today's theme. Thanks for stopping by Spatter....
Jennifer in OR – We had an unusual heat wave just after they bloomed and then it got cold and rainy … so they really didn’t have much of a chance to hang around this Spring. They’ll be back next year however, and I’ve got photos ;--)
Dawn – Thanks for your visit and comments on several of my posts here. I’m not sure I’d enjoy being licked by a giraffe myself, but I do think they’re wonderfully magnificent creatures.
Sarge Charlie – … and a good way to be it is methinks ;--)
David – Thank you!
June – It was my pleasure to do so … and thanks for the return visit.
To all – Methinks I’ve been to some of your blogs already, but I’ll drop by the others in a little while. Molly needs an afternoon walk first. I appreciate you spending a bit of your Saturday visiting here, and I hope you’re having a delightful day!
Hugs and blessings,
Great take on the theme. I love irises, they do come and go quickly, thank goodness for photos to remember where they are :) .
Thanks for dropping by. Take care.
Irises are lovely flowers. The signs are pointless points but very funny :)
Have a great weekend :)
Very nice choices! I always adore your flowers :) Hope you're having a lovely weekend :)
great posting. I really enjoyed the two one way signs!! Big Time Hugs and God's blessings to you from me! That's my story and by golly I'm sticking to it.
Love them both but the bottom one did make me laugh.
Hey!
Hope you had a great 4th of July weekend and have an even greater week ahead.
Wishing you a happy BYB Sunday and a great week ahead.
Confused much? I think I would be everytime I went to that corner. :)
Tina (of MyGoodFinds) – I enjoyed my visit to your blog, and appreciate you dropping by in return. I do enjoy the photos I took of my garden this Spring because all I have ‘flowering’ at the moment is roses. Of course, they’re gorgeous too.
Julie – Thanks, my weekend was most pleasant. I’m glad you enjoyed the signs as much as I did.
Sandy – Retired life is pretty wonderful always ya know! LOL Your photos and captions are always wonderful.
Mike – Glad you liked the ‘pointy’ things in my post and hope YOU had a great weekend too!
theGrandView – Laughter is always a good thing ;--)
Blue Panther – My weekend was ‘low key’ for the most part (as usual) … though noiser than usual in the neighborhood. Sorry you missed my BYBS post the last few weeks, but I do enjoy participating and visiting others each week.
Lisa – Confused often actually, but fortunately I don’t run into those signs anywhere but online!
To all – Finding comments is always a pleasure, so thanks for visiting and I hope you’re enjoying a marvelous Monday!
