Sky Watch #3 and Haiku Friday #56

Thanks to Scylla at Law & Motherhood
for this cool Haiku button

Standing on the deck
above my garage, I look
up and watch the clouds
gradually change
as the ocean breezes cause
currents in the skyrotating my view
3-6-0 degrees reveals
large patches of blue
smiles grow because
soon the sun will warm the day
for Molly and me.
For others participating in Haiku Friday this week go to A Mommy Story or Playgroups are no Place for Children. (To see my previous Haikus, click on the Haiku Friday label below this post or in the sidebar under About Me where you'll find a 'directory' of my Haikus on both blogs).

I would prefer to go to each one of you and leave a personal comment, but unfortunately or perhaps not, each week there are more of us participating. People of every corner of the world joined in a unique will – to see and share sky watch.
So, this week in order to leave a comment in the most blogs, I had to write a single message to all of you.
One thing I must say: I did really see your skies and enjoyed them all.
See you next week! :-)

Yolanda – Wow … long time no see girl! It’s nice to see you around the Blogosphere. Hope all’s well with you and yours. Thanks for dropping by ;--)

Tom – I appreciate your visit and feedback about my haiku and photos. This is my 3rd time participating and I hope to join in frequently. I look forward to visiting others as time permits over the next few days.

Maggie – Thanks. I hadn’t been on the upstairs deck for a while, so taking them last week was fun … as was adding the Haiku today.

Pretty Life Online – Thanks … I hope to visit everyone tomorrow.

Betty – I’m glad you enjoyed them. The day started out drizzily, but ended up sunny.

Tommy V – My skies definitely looked cloudier than yours ;--)

Dulce – Trying to visit everyone who participates is an admirable goal. I suspect it takes a long time. I appreciate you stopping by here to see my skies and understand why creating individual personal comments is difficult. I tend to visit fewer blogs rather than everyone and/or spread my visits over a longer period of time.

Sandy Carlson – I’m happy you enjoyed them ;--)

Mustang Mike – I enjoyed the word play. Thanks for your visit.

To all – My outing lasted longer than anticipated and I only just returned home a little while ago, so I’m responding here (hoping you checked the little box to receive same) and I’ll be visiting blogs tomorrow when I’m less tired and more alert. I look forward to seeing what you each shared.

Nice shots from your deck. It's good to make sure and keep turning around to see what's happening...

I love cloud pictures! These are great!

Imac – Thanks! We did … though not as warm as we might have liked ;--)

April – I’m glad you enjoyed all aspects of my post today. Multi-tasking is my specialty! LOL

EllenB – It’s interesting to me how the way I take photos is changing from visiting others who share their images and from learning about PSE6 tools. I need to learn more about the features of my camera, but I have enjoyed participating in some of these Weekly Photo activities.

Tamy – I love watching clouds too. It’s amazing how quickly skies change isn’t it?

To all – I’m delighted to find your comments this eveing as I get ready to power down the computer and unwind a bit before heading upstairs to ‘crash’ … I’ve been up since about 4am and grow weary. I hope you’re each enjoying the weekend.

Clouds are always so calming. I like your Dr.Seuss quote as well. I am a big fan of his.

Stev – Thanks for dropping by. I often write in Haiku … just because, but always participate in Haiku Fridays on each of my blogs, sometimes multi-tasking with another activity like Sky Watch. I hope you took some time to watch clouds after your visit ;--)

Virginia – I agree … and can watch clouds for extended periods of time now that I’m happily retired. I’m glad you enjoyed the Dr. Seuss quote. He’s a favorite of mine too.

Hugs and blessings to you both,

This makes me flash back to childhood--flat on my back, grass tickling my body, staring up at the sky...I need to do that again.

I love your sky photos! The view from your deck is gorgeous! :-)

Karen – Ah … now that you mention it, I spent lots of time similarly prone on the lawn gazing at the sky when I was younger too. I’ve only recently started to watch and try to capture the sky. It’s challenging where there are electrical wires everywhere. I could take the wires out with Photoshop but it’s time consuming and I’m feeling crunched for time as is. C’est la vie ;--)

Tina – Thanks! I used to spend more time on that deck when my ‘spa’ was filled with water, but since I drained it a while back I go up there less often. Maybe I’ll fill it again.

Thanks to both of you for dropping by. I’m sorry to be so slow in responding, and hopefully will have more time now that I’m ‘on break’ from school.
Hugs and blessings,
