Sky Watch #14 - HF#78 Watching the Weather

Unusual change
in our local weather with
temperature swings

'highs' in mid 90s
down 30 degrees ... create
foggy conditions

... altered neighborhood
skies to look like THIS and now
rain is predicted

for tomorrow here,
but next week the highs will be
back to mid-80s.

Not much 'visual'
evidence of 'Autumnal'
shifts ... but these are signs

summer's ending and
winter's on its way bringing
fewer visitors.

Note: As always, clicking on the images will 'biggify' them for better viewing.

Interesting photos. One could say a little gloomy or on the other hand we are ready for a change and let's see what life has to offer. Enjoy! MB

I was just soooo glad that yesterday and this morning were so much cooler than the 100 degrees we had on Wednesday. I need a heat break!

Such a crazy range of temperatures, but I love the pictures.

I like your shots of the skyline. Give me the palm trees but you can keep your temps. *grin*

I do like the silhouettes of those unusual trees.

Great pics! I'm not sure that I could live that far west--being a Midwestern girl, I'm too use to more spectacular changes in the seasons--though I love the way fog looks (only from my window, of course!).

I really enjoyed the haiku and the sky shots remind me winter is coming. However, your trees always look like summer to me. Nice post. BJ

Great Haiku. It sure looks like winter's on it's away by looking at your pictures. I still see palm tree and that always makes me think of warm weather. I wish I lived in a warmer state like Cali. It's only about 56 degree's here today. Burrr!!!

We have those swings in temps around her often but they are with lower digits. Like two nights ago we got down to 27 - brr, the morning was beauty with patchy fog over most waters and frost on plants, the sun dancing on all making it sparkle. What a pretty morning. :)
