BYBS - Sacred Life Sunday

Photobucket

Before beginning
to create this Sunday post
I created two ...

Mem'ries of Dad at

Happily Retired Gal
remembering his

December 7th
birthday & Pearl Harbor Day
at
Small Reflections.

Now I'm pausing to
count my many blessings and

share a few with you.

This is my 29th BYBS ...
Yesterday these 'stats'
from Site Meter arrived in
a weekly email.

Sacred Ruminations
Site Summary for December 5th

Visits
Total ....................... 10,048
Average per Day ................. 30
Average Visit Length .......... 7:37
This Week ...................... 210

Page Views
Total ....................... 22,565
Average per Day ................. 58
Average per Visit .............. 1.9
This Week ...................... 408

How amazing this
data seems to me as I
take time to reflect.

Yesterday's email
presented me with a link
to some food for thought

that felt 'timely' and
may help me make progress on
my 'uncluttering'

if I follow through
with the thought presented in
this brief video.

How happy you must have been to see your sitemeter report! It feels good to know we're being read.

Readers are a blessing. May you have many.

I am going to check my sitemeter account. LOL

But if they spend that much time reading your blog, where are the comments? Glad that the stats make you happy.

I love your snowman BYB logo. Is it yours alone or can I use it too?

Nice stats! Ooops, that sounds kind of vulgar, doesn't it?

Congratulations on your awesome stats! Excellent!!!

Speaking of your Thought for Today: I have been trying to put myself out of my comfort zone, and be more willing to express love and appreciation to others. Why is that so difficult, sometimes?

It feels soooooo good to be heard, doesn't it? That's wonderful!

Kuanyin – I felt intrigued by the report and it seemed to be a ‘milestone’ of sorts … so I shared. That said, I don’t pay much attention ‘stats’ but I do receive & ‘archive’ a weekly report from SiteMeter in email w/o reading it … thinking I’ll do it later. Procrastination is a strong suit for me. LOL

CyberCelt – Yes, readers ARE a blessing … and this month’s report surprises me in that it demonstrates that many drop by and READ what’s here without stopping to comment. I wonder how common a phenomenon that is in the Blogosphere.

PERBS – Ah … you raise the same question I had upon reading these statistics, and I have no answer. ‘Tis a ‘puzzlement’ indeed! I’m delighted you love my snowman BYB logo and of course you may use it.

Mama Zen – LOL … you are a delightfully quick-witted gal ;--)

Joyce – Thanks. As for your question … in my experience some folks aren’t comfortable receiving expressions of love or appreciation from others, especially when their internal thoughts run to things like ‘if you knew the REAL me you wouldn’t think so’ or they feel an ‘expectation from within’ to respond and don’t know how or feel uncomfortable doing so.

Karen – Yez … it does indeed ;--)

Thanks to each of you for visiting and taking the time to share your thoughts. One of the aspects of blogging that I enjoy most is the ‘connections’ with people in this ‘virtual’ world that I might never encounter in ‘real life’ and I appreciate each of you more than you know.
Hugs and blessings,

I enjoyed the video about eating the frog first. That is sure food for thought. I'm going to adopt that attitude for my life. Thanks, Faith
