Watery Wednesday #1 - Photos from HB Pier

This is my 1st ...
Three recent views from the
pier in Huntington Beach, California
'Surf City' USA
If I'd had my Tamron 28-300mm lens that day instead of the basic Nikon D60 18-55mm lens, I'd have captured a better view of the whale in the 3rd photo. Live & learn ;--)
Click to embiggen for better viewing
and for others participating in Watery Wednesday.

I'm almost Wordless at Happily Retired Gal today.

Welcome to Watery Wednesday!

Great shots. The water looks beautiful and I not only love the wave but that you showed the surfers out there having fun. What is that in the last shot? Dolphin? Whale? :-)

I had to "embiggen" this photo because they just looked so very interesting. I like the first picture especially because that one guy at the bottom is staring straight at a decently sized wave.

I tink you got great pictures even if you didn't have the long lense. I really likes the surf in the first picture.

I'll copy the first photo and publish it at my blog.
I've added a photo of surfing yesterday.
I'm amazed by this one.
I'll put the credit for your blog, of course.
If you have any problem please tell me.
