Today's Flowers - Purple Passion Photo

Week Eight - My 7th ...
A new colorful
meme featuring favorite
hues ... Feel free to play ;--)

Each year I worry
that my little Hydrangea
won't make it each Spring

because the Lime Tree
provides too much shade and Ms.
Kitty loves to hide

in the Maidenhair
fern that grows just like a weed
surrounding it like this.

Yet it comes to life
just about this time in June
blooms all summer long

various pastels
pink, blue, lavender blossoms
accented by red

blooms on the Fuschia
plant growing nearby ... I love
this combination

but do wish this bush
would grow bigger ... finally.
It is six years old

but not much larger
than when I first planted it!

Guess it needs more sun?

Both are beautiful! I love the hydrangea - sadly mine didn't bloom this year.

My post is here: Carletta’s Captures.

Lovely collages as always! Hydrangeas can be so fickle. Mine died off in our recent summer in Australia and yet now, in the chill of winter, are showing new strong green leaves.

Your words are pretty..I enjoy these too. I haven't given mine the attention they deserve. Slugs are more of a problem here. Anyway..nice poem and photos-

I just LOVE hydrangeas. They are among my most favorite flowers but I'm having no luck with mine. Too much sun I think (or else the lady with the black thumb!) I refuse to quit. I'm getting another! Enjoyed your beautiful pics!
