Thought for Today
"I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority."

I've never read any of E.B. White's essays. I had no idea what a forward thinking person he was. How often we see that "natural" is best. What comes to mind at this moment is breast feeding, especially 70 to 80 years ago when non-breastfeeding mothers would mix some canned milk, water and Karo corn syrup and call that good food for their newborns. I recall my paternal grandma telling me about that.
