Today's Flowers - Purple Passion Photo

Week Eight - My 7th ...
A new colorful
meme featuring favorite
hues ... Feel free to play ;--)

Each year I worry
that my little Hydrangea
won't make it each Spring

because the Lime Tree
provides too much shade and Ms.
Kitty loves to hide

in the Maidenhair
fern that grows just like a weed
surrounding it like this.

Yet it comes to life
just about this time in June
blooms all summer long

various pastels
pink, blue, lavender blossoms
accented by red

blooms on the Fuschia
plant growing nearby ... I love
this combination

but do wish this bush
would grow bigger ... finally.
It is six years old

but not much larger
than when I first planted it!

Guess it needs more sun?

Thursday Thirteen - Ms. Kitty Watches her World

... and an EARLY (or very late) Camera Critters

Thirteen 'Stylized' Photographs
featuring Ms. Kitty

In last week's T-13 I shared PSE6 collage experiments with Molly & Ms. Kitty at Happily Retired Gal, and THIS week I've chosen to highlight Ms. Kitty in 'filtered photos' ... because Molly 'at play' was presented in late May at Small Reflections. ;--)

(WW)Purple Passion Photo - Belated Monday Mosaic

ALMOST ...
Week seven - My 6th Purple Passion
and my First 'official' Monday Mosaic!

Keeping up with new
photo memes is challenging ...
yet I do my best ;--)

Here I've 'tweaked' a post
I shared yesterday for the
Mellow Monday Meme.

Using filters in
PSE6 it's become
totally diff'rent

so today I share
it in TWO versions as my
Passionate Purple

Monday Mosaic ...
multi-tasking just because
there's not enough time!

Blog Your Blessings and Today's Flowers

"Don't let yesterday use up too much of today."
Cherokee Indian Proverb

Really Good Things

1. I've enjoyed applying the new 'Digital Media' skills I'm learning in my evening Adult School classes ... most recently creating original templates for my collages as I did for my T-13 (featuring Molly and Ms. Kitty) at Happily Retired Gal, my Monochrome Maniac & Haiku Friday post at Small Reflections ... and again for Shadow Shots and Today's Flowers.

2. Tennis at the French Open this year has been exciting and unpredictable. I'm happy Svetlana Kuznetsova won the Women's Championship against Dinara Safina and am looking forward to the Men's Championship Match between Roger Federer and Robin Soderling tomorrow morning.

3.
I published May's Sidebar Gratitude List from Small Reflections at Happily Retired Gal and started a new list for June. I'm looking forward to Monday's Retired Gal's Luncheon to see what everyone's been up to the past few weeks.
