Belated BYBS#14 - Sacred Life Sunday ... and

... Monday Motivator too ;--)
As you may know, I've been admittedly captivated by the Olympics ... posting about the games in Beijing regularly at Small Reflections. This Finish Strong Movie from Simple Truths came to mind as I've watched the many of the events ... and I offer it as my 'blessing' and 'motivator' for the week ... just because. You might also enjoy the 'inspirational' links I've included in my sidebar at the left and down a ways.

I love that thought for the day! We spend so much time worrying about the little things.

I'm with you. Phelps has inspired my daughter and her friends to swim and to try to do it well. That's a blessing. Thanks, Storyteller!

The Olympics is a huge motivator for me as well.....to see the most dedicated hardworking dreamers, is a very powerful thing.

Lovely photo header, Storyteller. Very nice work. :)

I haven't watched the olympics as much as I usually do. I've been in a strange mood for about 3 weeks - just kind of pulled into myself. I've neglected my blog and my friends as well as many of my 'normal' pursuits. I don't remember any other time in my life quite like this.

Tammy – You’re so right about that. I’m glad the ‘thought’ today speaks to you ;--)

SandyCarlson – How wonderful for you and your daughter. I suspect Michael Phelps will be inspiring swimmers and other athletes for a long time to come. Did you see the woman who participated in the ‘open water’ final with one leg? What spirit and dedication SHE demonstrates.

Wayfaring Wanderer – Yez … I’m totally caught up in the dedication, hard work, and ‘dreaming’ of all these Olympic athletes who are thrilled to compete for their countries … medal or no.

Joyce – Thanks. I’ve been working to create a ‘pictorial’ header for each of my blogs and only just got the ‘dimensions’ close to correct. Now I need to figure out how to modify the Blogger templates html codes to get rid of the extra lines. It’s always something, right? LOL

Eve – I can fully understand you taking time for yourself to grieve and come to terms with the loss of your husband … and suspect it will be a while before you feel ‘normal’ again.

To all – Thanks for visiting and sharing your thoughts here at Sacred Ruminations. I hope you’re all having a delightful day.
Hugs and blessings,
