Haiku Friday #94 - Daily Gratitude

Hootin' Anni shared
this 'kewl' holiday award
with her commenters!

Seasonal 'magic'
fills my heart & mind as I
create this Haiku ...

I hope you will think
about keeping a list in
your sidebar like mine

at Small Reflections ...
and if you decide to join
me, feel free to 'snag'

Thank you Joy

'gratitude logo'
and encourage others to
keep a 'thankful' list

daily on their blogs
in their sidebars ... Wouldn't that
be quite wonderful?

Click for others participating in Haiku Friday this week.
Haiku Friday Sky Watch is at Happily Retired Gal
Haiku Friday #95 is at Small Reflections.

This post of thanks is so beautifully presented!

Wishing you inner joy for this Christmas season!

I read both post and both are lovely. I don't post a *thankful list*, I guess I could, but I do keep a list of things I'm thankful for in a little diary type book -- I don't write everyday, but I write in it often for the exact reason you stated -- to remind myself of all I have to be thankful for --- the list is long and unending. And seldom repetitive.

That's a good idea - having a thankful list for yourself!!! I'm glad to know the little gift is appreciated! Have a great Saturday.

What a lovely award you've received from Hootin' Anni.

As always, I enjoy the quote at the end of your post so much, the succinct thought 'jewel' to treasure.

Have a great day! <3

I've been working on "seeing what I want to see,"--meaning, looking for the things I really like in my life (rather than looking at the stuff I don't). It would probably help if I actually wrote it down!

Wayfaring Wanderer – Keeping a thankful list is an option, not a should … so you ‘could’ keep one if you decide to do so and it might be a positive experience … or not.

Gemma (of Greyscale Territory) – Thank you so much!

Patsy – Methinks it’s not important whether your list is public or private, but rather that you’re aware of your blessings and feel gratitude. Like you, I’ve kept such lists in my journals for years … and still do. This blog was created with such things in mind and you’ll find many ‘gratitude’ posts by clicking that link and/or ‘Really Good Things’ in my sidebar.

Hootin’ Anni – I think so and I’m delighted you agree. Of course I love your creative Christmas gift and have published it in the sidebars of both Blogger sites.

SandyCarlson – What a lovely comment! Thank you so much ;--)

Mama Zen – Me too!

Joyce – Hootin’ Anni does create the loveliest things doesn’t she? I’m grateful to have encountered so many wonderful folks in the Blogosphere. Thanks for the good wishes, and I’m delighted when the quotes I share ‘resonate’ with others.

Karen – Paying attention to what’s right rather than what’s wrong requires effort & attention in the beginning, but becomes easier with practice. I found writing a brief list daily helped me initially … then became a pleasurable habit. I suppose you could give it a try if you choose, and see what happens.

I’m thankful for each of you taking the time to visit and share your thoughts in comments. May your days be filled with the joy & wonder of the Christmas season!

Hugs and blessings,
