to share with a genuine
voice of my choosing.
Who would have guessed that
after all these years I would
come out of hiding?
Once "a nonny mouse"
this storyteller revealed
the truth by surprise.
Sharing a graphic
piece in a bold move without
pausing and thinking...
just what might happen
when readers clicked the image.
Ignorance is bliss.
Thus was I "outed"
and truth be told now, it is
fine. No one perished.
A new lease on life
as a writer the freedom
to share and be known.
Thanks for your feedback
and gentle encouragement.
My hugs and blessings.

so glad you've come out of hiding!!
'voice of my choosing'
what a wonderful phrase...and so very very true! Thanks for your lovely post!
I'm looking forward to hearing more of your voice this year!
Ah ... discovering friendly responses to my apprehensive offerings warms my heart.
Lucy - Me too :)
Ladybug - I appreciate your encouragement and plan to face my fears and see what happens ... forcing nothing, holding nothing back.
Hugs, blessings (and sincere gratitude) to you both,
Another great post. Two terrific haiku posts in one day. I am so in awe.
I love this. I feel like I am doing the same thing -- coming out of hiding and trying to nurture my voice! It is nice to know that others are out there. You go girl!
Lovely. Have a great weekend. :-)
Eve - I'm happy you enjoyed them both and hope you'll give Haiku a try sometime soon.
Yertle - Thanks! (I use that phrase sometimes myself and it's fun to read it here ... written to me!) How interesting. I sensed a connection with you when I read your Haiku today and glanced quickly through your blog. I would have read and responded to the post there today., but the print was so tiny I couldn't read it even with my glasses. You might consider enlarging the letters for older folk like me.
Teacher - 'Tis nice to meet you. Thanks, and a lovely weekend back at you!
I'm happy you all visited and decided to share your comments today.
Hugs and blessings,
Lovely! I love Haiku Friday!
MPJ - Thanks. I suspect I'll adopt it as a regular practice ... at least for a while. 'Twas fun to do and I enjoyed visiting other bloggers who participate, eventually finding the original link and feeling surprised that it started just a few weeks before I entered the Blogosphere.
Hugs and blessings,
OK, you talked me into it. Watch for my first Haiku on Friday. (I hope I don't regret this!)
Eve - Good for you! I'll look forward to reading them. Don't put any pressure on yourself ... just relax and enjoy!
Hugs and blessings,
You enrich us all by sharing your voice.
Karen - Thanks, but now I'm wondering where I left the comment about getting your hubby involved. I could have sworn it was about the Haiku ... but now I need to go back and check.
Okay -- I'm not crazy after all. It WAS about the Haikus, but left on my Simply Saturday post ... probably because we've been playing with Haiku in comments. So ... get your hubby involved!
Hugs and blessings,
