Haiku Friday #102 - Today's Flowers

Seven photographs
of the same red rose growing
in my yard right now.

Yesterday a few
petals fell upon the grass
signaling the end.

What a beautiful rose. How sad to see the petals fall . . .

That's a beautiful rose. Is it Mister Lincoln?

Mmmm...roses! I love their fragrance. Thinking of roses, have you ever read Rose Daughter? It's a wonderful retelling of the Beauty and the Beast tale.

I love roses, but ours are hiding out until spring. Beautiful collage and equally beautiful haiku.

Your second post on your beautiful roses. These are lovely too. Enjoy them. Most of us won't see these till spring...except at the florist shop.

Have a terrific day. Big hug. :)

Wow! Your roses are beautiful! And yes, it seems worlds apart from the winter wonderland I'm currently living in. I looked at a few photos that I took last spring and it doesn't even seem possible that it's the same location! I love nature. :)

Take some time to smell the roses for me too will you?

Blessings!

One day I'll get the hang of growing roses like that!

Your roses are certainly red, the look to be delightfully perfumed as well. Nice shots.
