Sunrise-Sunset - BYBS - Sacred Life Sunday

This collage is composed of
yesterday's Sunrise in my neighborhood here,
and the Sunset photos in the collage at Small Reflections in
today's Camera Critters post were also taken yesterday.

Click to embiggen for better viewing.
It seems the Sunrise-Sunset Photo Meme is no more.
Does anyone know what happened to it?

This is my 33rd BYBS ...
Reflecting on the past week
I intend to be ...
1. I'm delighted with all I've learned during 2008 about blogging and using Photoshop Elements. It's been fun to create & share original awards, collages, and posts with others and I look forward to continued growth in a variety of areas. I'm thinking about acquiring a new camera with different lenses to allow me to take better photographs in 2009.

2. I've transferred my December 'thankful list' from the sidebar of Small Reflections to Happily Retired Gal and started a new list for January. I intend to continue daily sidebar entries as I've done the last two months.

3. I'm happy that my sister & her husband are on their way home from their extended RV travels ... finally. They should arrive in the next couple of weeks so I may have less time for blogging.

4. Classes start tomorrow at the local Adult School, but I'm thinking of taking this next session off (except for the Writer's Workshop that starts mid-February and runs through April 30th) so that I have time to work on other projects.

5. Rather than set 'resolutions' for 2009, I'm creating 'intentions' to keep me focused on desired outcomes using 'playful' strategies and methods.

---One is to create a less cluttered environment in which to live ... by spending 30-60 minutes daily sorting & getting rid of 'stuph' I no longer need or want.
--- Another is to return to Weight Watchers on Thursday mornings, make healthier food choices, drink more water, and get more exercise on a daily basis.

---A third is to spend time daily in meditation & personal reflection using A Course in Miracles, the Bible, and other spiritual readings with the intention to clarify each day's purpose before doing anything else.
6. I'm looking for the right 'word' to serve as a 'reminder' in the days, weeks, and months ahead, but haven't settled on just one yet. I'll share once I do ;--)

Thoughts for Today

"The Possible's slow fuse is lit by the Imagination." Emily Dickinson

"Creativity represents a miraculous coming together of the uninhibited energy of the child with its apparent opposite and enemy, the sense of order imposed on the disciplined adult intelligence." Norman Podhoretz

"
Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!"

Another beautiful collage. You've got a good set of intentions for 2009 also.

Well, I am going to try to sort more of my good teaching stuff and give the best to grand daughter who is a teacher and toss the rest and I hope to go on more long walks this year. I don't make resolutions because they just get broken.

Drop by and see my snow photo blessings this week.

Forgot to say that I love your snowman BYB graphic. Is it yours personally or can others use it too? I LOVE SNOW!

Yay for Dr. Seuss! His thought for today was my favorite today!

Your intentions sounds perfect: healthy and doable. :)

Hooray that you will soon be able to enjoy your sister's friendship in person. <3

I always enjoy your collages! And I like your goals too. :) I seriously need to declutter and it seems I'm making dents in it.

What wonderful "resolutions"--I'm excited on your behalf about that Writer's Workshop! And how fantastic--your sister is coming back! 2009 sounds like it's going to be an exciting one for you!

These are wonderful intentions. I like the idea. It's a bit easier on the eye than resolution!

This will be the year of kindness for me.

Thanks for your thoughtful comments on my blog, my friend.
