Haiku Friday #96 - Snow in the Blogosphere

I'm a bit later than usual, so ...
Haiku Friday #97 is at Small Reflections. Remember check out the Friendship Award posted there yesterday afternoon.

Haiku Friday Sky Watch is at Happily Retired Gal .
While you're there, check out the Lemonade Award.
Each award is up for grabs
to enjoy & pass along during the holidays ... just because.

After seeing snow
falling gently around the
Blogosphere, impulse

guided me & now
lovely 'white stuph' falls here too.
If you'd like to add

winter weather to
your blog click the link to 'snow'
for a 'Blogger' site.

At WordPress go to
Dashboard ... Appearance ... Extras ...
click the 'snow' option

and Update Extras.
In Southern California
at the beach we aren't

likely to see snow
any other way ... except
on the mountain tops

once the Arctic storm
passes through our area
over the weekend.

Beautiful Haiku. It's snow right this very minute in my part of the world.

I do enjoy the snow falling on blogs almost as much as I enjoy the real snow outside my window. :)

Beautiful and timely haiku!

I love the snow too! I've added it to my blog too, along with a XMAS theme.

Hugs and Happy Day, G

I have been having some pangs for snow myself. Love the snow falling on your blog. Pictures of family with snowmen make me miss it, since I am in CA and won't see any. Lucas keeps asking to see snow, so maybe we will make a trip soon. Have a great day!

Thanks for the link! I've wondered how to do that!

Snow doesn't fall here close to Houston very often either. We did have a totally white Christmas in 2004 -- about 10 inches fell on Christmas eve late and we awoke to a sparkling white day -- of course by evening most of it was gone.
Then this past Wednesday it snowed -- this time it melted as soon as it hit the ground so nothing accumulated or even turned the ground white.
I like it on your blog too. Nice.

What a great set of haikus helping others to find snow! Very clever idea!

I'm glad you explained how the snow works. I've seen it on a few blogs and wondered. Now I have one more reason to consider switching to Wordpress.

I've been busy and neglected to stop by for awhile. Will have to catch up!

Lovely haiku! No snow here--just a lot of rain.

Nice virtual snow. It's as real as the stuff that fell here this week! (It didn't.)

Aww, I just love the snowfall here :) I love the virtual kind far better than the real stuff her!
