Haiku Friday Volume 16 - Best Laid Plans

Funny how life goes!
Good intentions oft way-laid.
Wellness Wednesday's post

started promptly, but
didn't come together when
Wordless Wednesday at

Small Reflections brought
traffic unexpectedly
causing me to spend

time & energy
visiting new bloggers and
responding to all

those who commented.
Balancing two blogs can be
difficult at best.

I shall not complain
since it's all a glorious
new experience

meeting others who
venture forth into this space
called the Blogosphere.

Maybe I shall write
and post Wellness Wednesday late?
I've done that before

with a Haiku here
and it worked out famously.
Yes, that's what I'll do!

Saturday I'll share
what I meant to post before,
and for now I'll be

visiting a few
more who join the Friday fun
posting in Haiku.

Volume 15 is
all about my birthday and
you can find it here.

For a Mr. Linky to other Haiku Fridays
go to A Mommy Story.

Haiku Friday Volume 13 is here.

Transplanting – Thanks for visiting Sacred Ruminations today. Sometimes it’s easier to manage than others, but I no longer try to post daily on both … so this one sometimes gets “short shrift” since I’m doing Blog 365 at Small Reflections. I hope you’re having a delightful day with your new Internet connection at home.

I have trouble keeping up with one blog. I couldn't do two.
Great 'ku!

Ditto Kathryn! I started a second one and kept it private for personal journaling and I can't even keep up with that.

I enjoy both your blogs. If you haven't posted anything new I always check back later.

Love this. I always appreciate what you have to, even if Wellness Wednesday happens on another day!

Kathryn – It’s not easy some days, but then I’m not keeping up with little ones the way you SAHMs are each day.

Bren – Hmmm … that’s an interesting thought (keeping one private for journaling). Of course I’ve written in journals for most of my life. The point of these blogs is to experiment with “putting what I write out there” to see what happens … and that’s what I’m trying to do. This blog is the more “private” and “serious” of the two generally speaking.

Scylla – Hmmm … It definitely helps to be “happily retired” with lots of discretionary time.

MamaGeek – (blushing as I type) Thanks … I appreciate the supportive feedback.

Eve – Yes … you’re definitely a faithful reader and I appreciate your frequently comments.

Yertle – You’re sweet … and I made it a public promise so I couldn’t let myself off the hook easily. Hopefully I’ll come up with something for WW by tomorrow.

I appreciate all of your supportive and encouraging comments more than you know. Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful weekend!

Great 'ku!

I'm getting ready to start a second blog and I'm nervous about the upkeep. I'll have to ask for pointers. :)

And I highly recommend pedis...very nice and relaxing. Good for wellness!

Sandy – Thanks for the feedback. I don’t know if I’d do Wordless Wednesday every week, but it was fun to participate this week. I don’t know how you keep up with all the traffic you get at Momisodes. As for my birthday … it’s been great and I’m having a wonderful weekend!

Melissa – I appreciate the compliment from one who writes Haiku like you … so thanks! Keeping up at first was not a problem, but lately I’ve struggled a bit myself and have experimented with different options. I’ll be happy to pass along whatever pointers I can, so ask away. I’ll definitely think about scheduling a pedicure soon.

I hope you both have a superb Sunday!

Cut yourself some slack, woman! And remember--it's supposed to be fun!

Karen – Ohmygosh … I needed that and you’re so right. LOL
It is supposed to be fun isn’t it? Thank you for the much needed reminder. So my friend, what are you doing on the computer this weekend? You usually take the weekend off from blogging? I wonder if you’ve posted to … so I’ll have to check when I finish here.
