Tuesday Tennis Troubles and more Temptation

Today was not a good one for the front runners in Women's Tennis. Serena Williams looked lethargic and got trounced soundly by Jelena Jankovic who was certainly on HER game! Justine Henin played well, but Maria Sharapova could do no wrong on the court and won a stunning victory in straight sets. If Lindsey Davenport was watching, I suspect she feels better about her loss to Maria in the second round. I'd like Sharapova's tennis better if she wouldn't shriek.

The Chinese doubles team took the Williams sisters out of the of the running today, and Ana Ivanovic has taken the 1st set from Venus this evening. The only other American left in the draw is James Blake and he plays Roger Federer in his next match. James has played excellent tennis thus far and overcome his 5-set demons, but unless Roger's off his game ... it looks like James will be on his way home soon.

Since I'm about to turn off the computer ... (and since I posted about flowers on Small Reflections) ...I thought I'd stay with that theme here. Although I was a Daisy and a Snapdragon there ... it seems I'm a Lily on this Bloththing.

You Are A Lily

You are a nurturer and all around natural therapist.
People see you as their rock. And they are able to depend on you.
You are a soothing influence. You can make people feel better with a few words.
Your caring has more of an impact than even you realize.
What Flower Are You?

Because I'm a curious sort,
I hope you'll share your results
in comments below or on your blog
with a link back here
if you decide to play along.

Twins! I'm lily, too.

I can't believe the way Venus looked in her game yesterday (I think it was yesterday)! She looked really "off."I couldn't believe it!

Eve and Karen – Gosh, that makes us TRIPLETS! How cool is that?

Sonya –That’s so true! Both Serena and Venus looked “off” … and it would have been interesting to know what the problems were. Venus did show some class, however, giving Sharapova props … and Maria certainly did play amazingly well. It’s fun to find someone who’s following the matches. There don’t seem to be many of us in this virtual world.

Thanks for visiting and sharing your comments. Hugs and blessings to you all!
