That's a good quote. Now we need to do more of it. :)

then the shopkeeper
runs out and shouts 'hey! you need
to pay for that wine!'

Eyes meet...Sometimes that is all it takes!

Can it get any worse than this?

Indeed, kindness - very nice!

Chani – Amen to that!

Liquidquick

laughter fills the room
fingers fumble with the keys
typos ... must correct

Gautama – Ah … Isn’t that the truth ;--)

Tumblewords – Thank you

I appreciate each of you visiting to read and respond to my ‘Ku. I’ve enjoyed many from One Single Impression already and plan to visit all before the end of the week.

Kindness through telopathic connections. Alook, a glance, A nod, an understanding. So very Kind!

I really like the way you used the punctuation in the first line to show the pauses and waits for the next action.

Thanks for the sister haiku you left in the comment to my haiku.

Thank you for the lovely haiku:
sorrow remains still
within hearts of women used
selfishly in war

I really appreciate that! Your haiku on your blog is wonderful also! :)

Thanks for your feedback on my ‘Ku here … and you’re welcome for the haikus I left in response to the ones you shared on your blogs. Leaving them was my pleasure ;--)

Sort of like the lyrics to the song that Louis Armstrong used to sing . . . When people ask how you're doing, it's a way of saying, "I love you." What was the title? It's a wonderful world?

Love the quote and the 'impression.' Have a great Thursday!

Thanks storyteller for your comments at my post! Your haiku is lovely! :D

storyteller said...

Joyce – Ah yez … I know the song you mean. ;--)

Eve – Thanks, I appreciate the feedback.

Teach – You’re welcome … and thanks for the compliments.

How nice of each of you to stop by and leave your comments. I hope you’ve had a delightful day.

So simple and so lovely...

To not be afraid of life is to begin finally living it.
Thank-you.

The basic foundation of the kindness. Great.

Karen – Thanks! I got a little carried away on the first one I did for One Single Impression when I shared the photo collages of Molly and Ms. Kitty. I really intended just to use the first 3 lines that day with Molly’s collage, but then I noticed a couple of shots of Ms. Kitty and I was off and running … writing as if it was for Haiku Friday. This time I kept myself ‘in check’ as I posted ;--)

Bella – You’re welcome. I’ve missed your last few posts, but they’re waiting for me in Google Reader when time will allow me to savor them. I need time to drink in what you write … and life’s just been too busy of late.

Christine, of Quiet Paths – I appreciate your visit … and your feedback.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend and am grateful you visited today.

Lucy - Thanks! I suspect that you'd enjoy all the participants at One Single Impression.

Finding your comment is a surprise this morning. Does this mean you’ve returned from Paris? Where has the time gone? I’ll bet there are many posts for me to catch up with on your blogs … and I’ll do so when I can. I hope you had the time of your life abroad!
